Review
Win32pad is a small, compact and powerful text editing software available in the software market. It provides the users with some extra features which are not available in the windows default text editor - notepad. This editor fulfills almost all the necessary requirements for a text editor. The interface is user-friendly and easy to use. Some of the striking features of the software include the Recent Files list which gives you easy access to the most recent files you have edited using Win32pad. Automatic indentation makes the document look better and more presentable. Users can also show and hide the standard toolbars and status bar. Win32pad supports both the Windows default and UNIX file formats. Line numbers can also be toggled on and off. Powerful find and replace feature and go-to-line-number option enhances the power and effectiveness of the text editor.
The status bar also shows current location, number of lines and the editing mode. Moreover, files can also be opened by Dropping them from Windows Explorer. Win32Pad can also be minimized to the System Tray. Insertion of Date/Time can be done very easily and efficiently. |
